 Don't buy a dog here!!!

| I bought a dog her after being assured that they do not get dogs from puppy mills...only small breeders, etc. I fell for it hook, line and sinker. The problem is, I had my puppy home for 2 days before she got sick and since has been in the hospital not eating, getting IV antibiotics and fluids for 5 days since. When I called them, they were rude and totally unhelpful and denied that they dog could have gotten sick there. Do not get dogs here!!! |

We recently bought a Maltese-Shitz mix from The Puppy Scene, Orange Park FL and had a wonderful and fun experience. The ladies at the OP store were so helpful, experienced and matched us with the perfect puppy. "Gracie" is adorable, very healthy and very playful. She was so well taken care of before we purchased her. She was even taught to fetch. We were given all the necessary information and then some. Everything was explained to us in great detail with no rushing, allowing us to ask many questions. We highly recommend this store to anyone who may be hesitant to buy from a pet store, due to bad experiences reported at other pet stores. We found numerous bad reviews as we researched online before we made the decision to purchase from The Puppy Scene. It’s unfortunate that some pet stores which have horrible and cruel business practices ruin it for wonderful stores like The Puppy Scene. They truly care about the animals they sell and make sure the right person is matched with the right dog. Thank you so much to the OP Puppy Scene for making a very scary decision to buy from a pet store easy and comforting and most of all, truly blessed with our little "Gracie". |

You will get a $5 discount off of your first visit (and I get browny points too). She also carries Redbarn brand dog food, the best food for picky eaters or dogs who suffer from bad food allergies. |

| The groomers badly cut my Yorkie on top of his nose when they were grooming him and lied about it trying to cover it. There was two dry blood spots stuck on the fur on the top of his nose and when confronted they denied it. The manager would not speak with me on this issue and I was denied proper customer service. Because of this salon my Yorkie now acts very weird and does not want to socialize with the other house pets and hides under the sofa all day. He growls at the other dogs when they come near and try to lick his scar. Very unprofessional staff who avoid admitting their errors and correcting the problem. |
